Antoine Grizmann’s move away from Atletico Madrid is nearing after he met with Paris Saint-Germain representatives last week.
The French World Cup-winner has been a long-term target for Barcelona, but L’Equipe report that his representatives met with the Parisian club last week.
Griezmann on Tuesday told Atletico Madrid he is leaving them and Barcelona appeared to be frontrunners in the bid to sign the Frenchman for €120million (£104m) on July 1.

However, PSG have now reportedly entered the fray and will battle Barcelona for the Atletico talisman.
The Catalan club stepped up their efforts to sign the player they pursued and ultimately failed to sign last summer.
Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone met with Griezmann on Tuesday urging him to make a swift decision over his future and then requesting that he publicly announce it.
Atletico wanted no repeat of last summer’s soap opera even though it ended him with him staying at the club.
But it now appears likely the move to Barcelona will not go as smoothly as Atletico might have hoped, with cash-rich PSG now seemingly interested in bringing Griezmann back to his homeland.
